Establishing a connection with God first by confessing your sins and acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior is essential. This step is crucial for spiritual redemption and salvation. The Bible teaches that we can receive forgiveness and reconciliation with God by confessing and repenting that our sins are forgiven through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Join a church: Joining a church can help you reinvent your spiritual life. It can be an enriching experience, providing a sense of belonging, community, and spiritual growth. A church's supportive environment can help you connect with people who share your faith and values. You can deepen your understanding of scripture through worship services, Bible studies, and fellowship events and strengthen your relationship with God. Communicate with God: The same God who created the moon, stars, and the sun also exists within you. Hence, there is no need to approach an intermediary to communicate with the creator. Through prayer, you can establish a direct connection with God. This divine being is intrinsically linked to you and communicates with your spirit. You must pray to maintain this connection whether you are going through good or bad times.

Expressions such as "the spirit is broken" or "someone’s spirit may never be the same" are commonly used, but it's essential to recognize that the spirit itself cannot be broken or damaged. Life can be challenging, and you may face heartaches, pain, or depression that can affect your spirit. But, with the help of the Lord and prayer, you can be healed. You must choose to think positively and not let your spirit be dampened. By keeping faith in God, you can overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

While some people may face adverse situations, it's essential to recognize that they may have been put into circumstances beyond their control. To turn a negative situation into a positive one, you must live purposefully and remove yourself from anything negative. This could include friends, family, living arrangements, or anything else holding you back. Creating a step-by-step plan is recommended for achieving your goals, although it may take time. Remember, the power to choose your destiny lies within you!

When you come across a difficult decision in your life, also known as a "fork in the road," it's essential to take some time to reflect on it. This could be anything from choosing between going to college or getting a job, deciding who to enter a relationship with, or even making choices about substance use. Whatever the decision, it's vital to approach it carefully and pray if you're inclined. While we're free to choose, we must also understand that every decision has good and bad consequences. So, take your time, think things through, pray about it, and always strive to make the best decisions possible for your life.

REINVENT YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE: STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH MUSCLE

What is faith? There are so many verses in the Bible pertaining to faith. However, below are just a few of our faves:

• Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
  
• 2 Corinthians 5:7  For we walk by faith, not by sight.
  
• Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Faith is trusting and believing that God will be present in any situation. When you pray, you express your heartfelt desires for God to provide, fix, heal, or guide you through whatever challenge you face. Once you have prayed, this is when faith comes into play. You pray and let go, trusting that God will answer your prayers. You then await God's response through your inner guidance or through physical manifestations. God operates on His own timeline and always shows up when needed!

If God doesn't answer your prayer, it could mean that you didn't need it or that it's not meant for you to have. (This applies to things like acquiring a new job or a car, for example.) Many people wonder, if God is all-powerful and all-knowing, why he does not simply fix their problems. However, God wants you to pray and ask Him for assistance. He sees everything but wants you to acknowledge Him and seek His help. This enables you to grow spiritually and strengthens your faith in trusting Him to handle any situation. It's essential to include Him in your daily life, whether things are going well or not, and to ask Him for help in all areas of your life.

Don't Take It To Heart: Some may say, "God didn't answer my prayer," or "God never shows up when I need him." This type of negative thinking will keep you stuck in the same situation or facing the same problems in life without any hope of improvement. Therefore, it is essential to always remain positive in any situation you pray for, even if there is no way out. Remember, faith without works is dead. If you pray for something, you should not just sit around hoping and wishing it will happen. You must do everything possible, and God will take care of the rest.

For example, if you pray for God to make your book a bestseller, you should also take action by researching the subject matter and writing the book. You cannot expect God to write or market the book for you. You need to get moving and stay in motion. Opportunities will arise by taking action and being persistent. Remember, success requires effort on your part.

2. Always walk in love no matter what! Galatians 5:22-26 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
